Research related to user-centered coordination of autonomous vehicles for ridesharing

Shared Autonomous Vehicles (SAVs) are driverless, cooperatively interoperable vehicles for ridesharing. Since the coordination by a central authority is not feasible, efficient real-time coordination is essential. However, the coordination is hampered by dynamic behavioral user changes (e.g., booking of digital services, spontaneous change of route, spontaneous exit, and so on). The aim of this research is to develop a virtual 3D environment for user-centered coordination of autonomous vehicles for ridesharing.
