New Project on legal framework for human biobanks for medical research
A new project has been initiated on the design of a framework for human biobanks for medical research together with the medical informatics department@CAU. We are happy to give new insights on the subject.

Member of Kiel Marine Science
Agnes Koschmider became member of Kiel Marine Science (KMS). KMS is the centre for interdisciplinary marine science at Kiel university and one of four priority areas at Kiel university. KMS gives us room to start new interdisciplinary projects related to maritime digitalization.

Funding for digital learning
Our research group received funding of 14.300 Euro to support digital learning (Programm für die Digitale Lehre 2021 – 2023 @ CAU).

Project funding for MARISPACE-X: Smart Maritime Sensor Data Space X
The proposal MARISPACE-X has been selected as winner of the call "Innovative und praxisnahe Anwendungen und Datenräume im digitalen Ökosystem GAIA-X". Together with O. Landsiedel, M. Renz, P. Kröger and R. Koch, the computer science department will receive total funding of 2 Mio; The process analytics group has two open PhD positions with a duration of 3 years from 01.01.2022. Keynote on Privacy in Process Mining @ SPBP'21
Agnes Koschmider will give a keynote on Privacy in Process Mining at The Fourth Workshop on Security and Privacy-enhanced Business Process Management (SPBP'21) on September 06.

Agnes Koschmider has been invited as guest speaker at the anniversary event of AIK ("Jubiläumssymposium anlässlich des 50-jährigen Bestehens des Instituts AIFB"). I am very honoured to be invited to speak at my Alma Mater.

Agnes Koschmider is together with Cristina Cabanillas and Niels Garmann-Johnsen BPM 2022 workshop chair. The BPM conference is the most prestigious forum for researchers and practitioners in the field of Business Process Management.

MarData Scholarship on Data and Process Mining to Understand Seafloor Plate Tectonics
Happy that our MarData proposal will be funded with a duration of 3 years; joint project together with Colin Devey from GEOMAR. Looking forward to the interdisciplinary and novel research.

Special Issue in Informatik Spektrum
A special issue on "Privacy in Process Analytics" has been published in the journal Informatik Spektrum. This issue sets out to discuss concerns related to privacy in process analytics over IoT-based event streams.

Paper on Privacy Preserving Process Mining online available
Our paper on privacy preserving process mining has been published in the BISE journal. This is the first paper that applies differential privacy on event logs for process mining. Many thanks to F. Mannhardt, N. Baracaldo, M. Weidlich and J. Michael.

On October 1, 2019 Agnes Koschmider gave an invited talk on Privacy Preserving Process Mining at IBM Research - Almaden (USA).

ELPaaS: Event Log Privacy as a Service
We published a tool for privacy preserving process mining and event log anonymization. You can try the tool here This is joint work with M. Bauer, S. Fahrenkrog-Petersen, H. van der Aa, F. Mannhardt and M. Weidlich.

Together with R. Laue, M. Fellmann, A. Schoknecht, A. Vetter we are developing a repository on BPM patterns and anti-patterns literature. More information here. EMISA 2020
The Process Analytics Group will host the next conference of the GI Special Interest Group on Design Methods for Information System (GI-SIG-EMISA). The conference will take place at the Kiel University on May 14th and 15th 2020. More information here.
