Agnes Koschmider is a professor of information systems at the Kiel University and head of the Process Analytics group. Before she was Associate Professor at the Poznań University of Economics and Business, interim professor at the University of Cologne and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Applied Informatics and Formal Description Methods at KIT. She received her doctoral degree and venia legendi in Applied Informatics, both from KIT. She has published over 90 research papers and articles, among others, in Data & Knowledge Engineering, Decision Support Systems, Information Systems, IEEE Transactions on Cloud Computing, Business & Information Systems Engineering and BPM Journal. Her work was awarded with the Wolfgang-Heilmann-Prize, junior fellowship of the German Informatics Society and a post-doctoral fellowship from the University of Pretoria.

I am a mother of three children. My twins were born in 2011 and my youngest daughter in 2015.
